Green Bond Framework
Sparebanken Norge’s Green Bond Framework has been developed in accordance with the ICMA Green Bond Principles.
Green bonds
Through the projects and customers we finance, we aim to contribute to the green transition. The framework defines the categories eligible for financing through Sparebanken Norge’s green bonds.
Eligible categories
The framework includes:
- Green residential buildings
- Green commercial buildings
- Renewable energy
Sparebanken Norge has obtained an independent second-party opinion on the framework. Multiconsult has been appointed as an external expert to assess the impact of financing energy-efficient residential and commercial buildings in Norway, as well as electricity generation from Norwegian hydropower plants.
